Cheating For Personal Gain?

October 11th, 2025

While we don’t know how someone could get away with voting as an Indialantic resident in both April and June this year, then testify under-oath in August that they lived continuously for 6 months in Melbourne Beach, it certainly raises questions about their motives, and their moral and ethical principles.

Such is the case with Terrence Cronin who changed his address 4 times with the Brevard Supervisor of Elections from December of 2024 to August of 2025. This culminated with him claiming to be a resident, and voting in Indialantic on April 1st and June 10th 2025.  As a result, how can he qualify to run for Commissioner in the Town of Melbourne Beach if he did not meet the criteria of living in the Town for 6 continuous months prior to August? Further, it appears he may have falsely testified under oath to the 6 months residency requirement.

One might easily conclude that Terrence Cronin deliberately changed his voter registration to qualify for various State and Local election runs.  If true, this misrepresentation could constitute a violation of Florida election and perjury laws and undermine the integrity of the electoral process potentially setting a terrible precedence for other candidates to emulate.

After reviewing official voting records, we have discovered the following:

December 16th, 2024 - Terrence Cronin changed his home address from 150 Riverside Drive, Melbourne Beach to his Dermatology office at 1399 S. Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne, this would have enabled him to run for a state office in district 32. Note, Melbourne Beach is in district 33. Moreover, it has been documented that government officials inspected the inside of that office location and found no signs residency or any evidence that the location was used for anything other than an office.

February 3rd, 2025 - Terrence Cronin changed his address back to 150 Riverside Drive, Melbourne Beach from his dermatology office at 1399 S. Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne.
February 5th, 2025 - He used his home address as 150 Riverside Drive, Melbourne Beach for his Republican Party Candidate Oath.

March 26, 2025 - Terrence Cronin changed his voter registration address to 925 N A1A Apt 206 in Indialantic. This would have enabled him to vote for himself in the District 32 Special Primary election for State Representative.

April 1st, 2025 - Terrence Cronin voted (presumably for himself) in Indialantic for the Brevard County Special Primary Election.

June 10th, 2025 - After losing the Primary Election, he voted again at the Indialantic polls for the Brevard County District 33 Special Election.

August 11th, 2025 - Terrence Cronin announces he is running for Town of Melbourne Beach Commission and lists his home address as 150 Riverside Drive, Melbourne Beach. On the Candidate Check List, Terrence Cronin checks-off that he has been a resident there for six consecutive months prior to August 15th.

Can this be true given Terrence voted in Indialantic as a resident during that time?

Was he untruthful on the Town of Melbourne Beach Willingness to Serve Statement where he signed and has notarized, “I am a qualified elector in the Town of Melbourne Beach, Florida and I have resided in the Town for at least
six (6) Consecutive months immediately prior to the date of qualifying for this office.”?

At the Town of Melbourne Beach Special Meeting on August 20, 2025 (see video link to right), at the 5 minute, 40 second mark, Terrence asks why he must swear to anything under oath regarding his candidacy? Clearly uncomfortable, was he perhaps concerned with the prospect of perjury? Then at 13:13-14:06 mark he in fact does swear under oath that he has maintained 6 months continuous residency at 150 Riverside Drive, Melbourne which, at best, many would find difficult to believe based on his previously signed documents and voting actions in Indialantic.

Is this the kind of conduct we want from someone looking to represent the residents of Melbourne Beach?

Is it moral or ethical for a candidate to disregard the rules that everyone else followed? Does this behavior reflect upstanding service to the common good, or is it simply selfish act of entitlement? Rules exist to ensure fairness, honesty, and integrity in our elections. Every other candidate respected those standards. Why shouldn’t Terrance Cronin?

Cheating the system is not leadership.
It’s a betrayal of the public’s trust.
